Product Designer
Patent software has looked the same for 20 years — dense, confusing, and ugly. We're changing that. You'll design the interfaces for AI-powered tools used daily by patent professionals across Europe. This means chat UIs for patent research, document editors, signature workflows, and data visualizations. The challenge is making deeply complex workflows feel simple without dumbing them down. - Design end-to-end user experiences for our suite of patent tools
- Create high-fidelity prototypes and production-ready designs in Figma
- Collaborate closely with engineers to ship designs that match your vision
- Conduct user research with patent attorneys to understand their workflows and pain points
- Build and maintain our design system across all products
- Shape the visual identity and brand language of WunderIP
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of product design experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or developer tools
- Strong portfolio demonstrating complex UI/UX work — not just landing pages
- Expert-level Figma skills including component systems and prototyping
- Ability to balance aesthetics with usability for professional, expert users
- You can work autonomously, make decisions, and defend your design rationale
- Fluent in English; German is a plus but not required
Nice to have
- Experience designing AI-powered interfaces or conversational UIs
- Familiarity with legal tech, fintech, or other regulated industries
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS — enough to have productive conversations with engineers
- Motion design skills for micro-interactions and transitions
