Working Student — Software Engineering
This isn't a working student role where you fix bugs nobody cares about. You'll be part of our engineering team, contributing to the same codebase and shipping features alongside senior engineers. We'll pair with you, review your code thoughtfully, and give you the context to grow quickly. If you're studying CS or a related field in Munich and want to learn what it's like to build a real product at a real company, this is your chance.
Apply nowWhat you'll do
- Contribute to our web applications using TypeScript, React, and Next.js
- Work on real product features that ship to users
- Participate in code reviews — both giving and receiving feedback
- Help improve internal tools, testing, and documentation
- Learn from experienced engineers through pairing and mentorship
What we're looking for
- Currently enrolled in a CS, informatics, or related degree program in Munich
- Solid fundamentals in at least one programming language (TypeScript/JavaScript preferred)
- Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, React is a bonus)
- Eager to learn, comfortable asking questions, and not afraid of production code
- Available for 15-20 hours per week with some flexibility around exam periods
- Good English skills; German is a plus
Nice to have
- Personal projects or contributions to open source
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Interest in AI/ML, legal tech, or developer tools
- Previous internship or working student experience in software
